Hello dear UTT alumni,

I'm contacting you because, as some of you already know, every year for the past 3 years UTT has organized the " Journées de l'Ingénierie Responsable " (aka JIR) for our TC2 students.

This year, 300+ students will be mobilized over these 3 days dedicated to raising awareness of DDRS issues.

  • I'd like to remind you that we don't want these days to be anxiety-provoking, but rather to encourage ideas and initiatives, so that these young students understand that they can take action at their own level, and that everything starts with a critical mind and a desire for change.

During these 3 days, we'll be offering a range of activities for our young people.

For the 2025 edition, the program is as follows:

Tuesday May 20:

  • An introduction to the JIR (why these days are important + the engineer's role in the issues) and a self-assessment of their knowledge on the subject.
  • Screening of Cyril Dion's film "Demain", followed by a debate.

Wednesday May 21:

  • Conference - details to be confirmed
  • Meetings with UTT alumni leaders - 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Thursday May 22:

Forum des associations - to enable students to discover local associations and, we hope, get some of them involved.

As you can imagine, I'm contacting you today to find out if any of you would be available on Wednesday May 21 to come to the UTT to share your experiences and commitments - whether in the context of your jobs or in a personal capacity - with groups of students.
Tell them about your actions and answer their questions in a relaxed atmosphere.

Each group would last 30 min - so you could meet up to 4 groups in the same time slot.

This year, I'll finally be able to pay for the travel expenses of the 10 alumni who will be taking part.

If you're interested, please let me know right away at marion.quillery@utt.fr.

Thank you in advance!
