AtmosGear is the French start-up that is revolutionizing an entire sport all by itself!

🧑‍🚀 MISSION: To bring Rollerblades back into fashion worldwide, and become the market's #1 brand by 2029.

🤕 PROBLEM: This aging industry has been dominated for 30 years by the same three fixed brands that have failed to evolve with the expectations of new generations. Without real innovation or adaptation to digital marketing codes, Rollerblading has lost its appeal - leaving room for other, better-promoted board sports.

💡 SOLUTION: AtmosGear has brought together France's top engineers and skaters to invent the world's 1st electric Rollerskates! Designed for sport, leisure and daily commuting - their universal remote-controlled kit motorizes all Rollers to propel you at 25km/h with +20km of autonomy.

🌎 THE MARKET: In 2023, the Roller market generated $5B - with 50M frequent skaters worldwide. The main players are Europe (30%) and the USA (30%), pushing AtmosGear rapidly towards export. According to 10 years' research on over 100,000 international skaters, 5% are already looking to buy electric Rollerskates. This new market is expected to reach $200 million by 2028, and AtmosGear is aiming for a leadership position with 25%.

🔬TECHNOLOGY PATENTED: Their technology is based on 2 international patents. An ultra-efficient miniature motor designed for practical use, and intelligent assistance that adapts to movement. The Atmos electrification kit (DeepTech label) retains hybrid operation, enabling ANY equipped mobility device to run even without a battery.

💰BUSINESS MODEL: Direct sales (B2C) onatmosgear.com with the electrification kit at €650 and the complete skid at €750 incl. VAT. And from 2025, opening up to mass distribution (B2B2C).

🚀 KPI & TRACTION :

  • 2018 - 2022 = Start of engineering school project, 25 prototypes, 2 patents, 1 brand and +3,000 beta-testers in France.

  • 2023 = EU approval. 300 pre-orders in France for +200K€ sales in full organic, with only 3 employees and their own assembly warehouse in Compiègne.

  • 2024 = US approval and international patent extension. 700 Pairs delivered for +400K€ sales (FR=300, USA=200, EU=100). 6 Employees in total. +20K subscribers on social networks and international media coverage with +2M views and 100K interactions.

💪 THE CORE TEAM:

  • Mido, Founder & CEO: Passionate skater turned mechatronic engineer to bring to life a childhood dream he's had since 2009. He developed the technology and is behind the 2 patents. 6 years' experience in electric mobility, UTC graduate (2021), incubated at Polytechnique (X-UP 14). Named Engineer of the Future 2020 by Usine Nouvelle.

  • Stanislas R, CTO: Industrial design engineer in charge of industrialization and production follow-up. Also a UTC graduate with 3 years' experience in the automotive industry and 1 year as an entrepreneur in high-end furniture.

  • Nader, Chief Engineer: Mechanical engineer in charge of R&D, 3D design and prototyping. Graduate of Arts et Métiers with 5 years' experience in hardware.

💸 SEED ROUND €2M

In September 2024, they raised €1.4 million in the 1st round to finance the production of 4,000 pairs of electric rollerblades. Today, all they need is the marketing and sales resources to achieve our goals:

✅ Recruit 4 talents to boost online sales (B2C)

✅ Open up the retail sector (Boulanger, FNAC, Decathlon, Intersport...)

✅ Exporting efficiently to the United States and Europe

✅ Develop sports events to create media virality, build customer loyalty and further widen the gap with future competitors.

💸600K€ RESTANT

  • This leaves 600K€ to be filled between now and March for the 2nd round.

  • Current valuation = 5M€. Post-money valuation = 5.6M€.

  • We've already received €60K from French-speaking BAs and top athletes.

🎯EXITS POTENTIALS: By 2029, electric roller skates will occupy a major place in the traditional market, as with skateboards and scooters. AtmosGear will therefore be in direct competition with the historical leaders, who will have 2 options: buy them out to stay in the race OR sell them to leave the market. A likely acquisition by a leader in Rollerblades (Rollerblade, Powerslide) or Micromobility (Segway, Xiaomi). Estimated resale value of +50M€, i.e. a return on investment x10 for current shareholders.
