Presentation

UTT Alumni is an association under the French Law of 1901. It was created in December 1996, when the first class of engineers graduated from the Université de Technologie de Troyes. It brings together all graduates of the Université de Technologie de Troyes: Engineers, Masters, Doctoral students... UTT Alumni was admitted to the IESF in September 2003, and in 2022 changed its name to UTT Alumni (formerly ASANUTT) to facilitate exchanges with our future European partners as part of the development of EUT+.

Association values

1. Mutual aid

Alumni support each other by exchanging advice and best practices for personal and professional success.

Examples: exchange and advice on internships, professional retraining, further studies, moving to a new region/country. This mutual aid can also be made visible to UTT players wishing to carry out projects.

2. Support

Exchanges between alumni and alumni support for students are anchored in the long term, through a recurring presence on a variety of subjects.

Examples: mentoring and sponsorship, skills development on societal issues, advice for alumni, students and UTT staff and management.

3. Friendly

Positive, reciprocal exchanges between alumni and students.

Examples: Ensure that this conviviality continues through festive and friendly events: afterworks, meals, themed outings. Ensure that UTT ecosystem bodies communicate with each other.

4. Share

Alumni pool their know-how and expertise for individual and collective projects.

Examples: Organizing themed events with experts, disseminating knowledge to the UTT community and our partners.

5. Opening

Alumni are committed to showcasing the diversity of their backgrounds and profiles in order to inspire as many people as possible. The association welcomes all alumni and is transparent in its decision-making.

Examples: Highlighting committed career paths, access to the association for all alumni, and diversity of opinion.

Objectives of the association

UTT Alumni has decided to redesign its roadmap in order to keep pace with changes at UTT and to take on board societal issues. This was unanimously approved by the Board of Directors in April 2023. This roadmap is a strategic implementation of the association's values.

This strategy aims to contribute in our own way to building a sustainable, responsible and fulfilling world for UTT graduates. We will set up events, projects and services to :

  1. build a supportive community committed to the UTT brand
  2. support our positions for the future of UTT
  3. help alumni transform their employing organizations

1. A caring, supportive and professional community

We want to enable initiatives proposed by alumni to be deployed, provided they are open to all alumni on the most appropriate scale: a territory, a branch, a theme...

2. A network that contributes to UTT's future

We want to strengthen our institutional links with UTT, the UTT Foundation and EUt+, transforming them into shared strategic links. This means strengthening our democratic functioning by enabling graduates to contribute to the life of the association and by transparent representation.

3. Reinforce and affirm the responsible value of the UTT diploma in organizations around the world

We are convinced that the UTT education, the UT model and the EUt+ ambition represent a tremendous opportunity but also, and perhaps above all, a great responsibility. Engineering has evolved over the course of history, and it seems to us that the overcoming of planetary limits that characterizes our era convinces us that the engineering of the 21st century will have to respond to the major challenges of a societal revolution.

This roadmap has taken shape thanks to the work of our alumni volunteers, and it's thanks to everyone's involvement that celle-ci will take shape over the years. Don't hesitate to join us on our various projects!

Support our action
